Verizon Introduces Two New LG Spectrum Marketing Spots

Yeah, you can sign me up for any smartphone that gets some Star Wars marketing muscle behind it. The first of Verizon’s two new LG Spectrum marketing spots highlights Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3D arriving in theaters on February 10th. As you can see, the Verizon customer in this commercial has a rough time deciding between an LG Spectrum or R2D2 purchase. Personally, I’d go R2D2, but hey, I just love the idea of a robot hanging around the house. That’s definitely going to give me a one-up on the neighbors.

Verizon’s second spot highlights the 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 720p HD display, Mobile Hotspot, cradle dock, Wi-Fi direct, ESPN Scorecenter HD, Netflix, 8 megapixel camera, 1080p video recording all powered by Verizon’s 4G LTE. The “Spectrum by LG: Unprecedented.”

The LG Spectrum launched yesterday retailing for $199.99 in Verizon retail stores and through www.verizonwireless.com.
