Verizon To Offer HTC Thunderbolt, iPhone 4 Discounts During Upcoming Promotion?
Thanks to a little super sleuthing we caught wind of this possible upcoming sale from Verizon which offers some incredible deals on some of the most popular handsets available now. If you’ve an Android or an iPhone lover you’ll have something to think about with the HTC Thunderbolt going on sale for the ridiculously awesome price of FREE! Did we mention that price is ridiculously awesome when you consider the current Thunderbolt price is $249.99? It’s not the newest LTE phone on the block but for the low price of free who are we to complain?
Perhaps the iPhone 4 is your phone of choice so how about a possible sale price of $150.99 which is an unheard of price break courtesy of Big Red. Apple is known for their fair pricing model which usually only providers retailers with a window of around $10 or so to discount devices. A $49.99 price break is almost to good to be true.
No word on when this sale is taking place but if you’ll notice the Verizon website looks a little different we’ll bet this sale and the website new look might drop around the same time. Nothing says fancy new website like special deals on some of Verizon’s most popular phones.

Verizon should not offer a free phone that is outdated. The Thunderbolt has yet to get Gingerbread 2.3 or has issues of rebooting for some.

So what’s the verdict…real or fake? I’ve got an upgrade burning a hole in my pocket and a free TB would be enough to hold me over until Q1 2012

Verizon should be paying people for taking the Thunderbolt off their hands as many problems as many people had with it. As for the iPhone4 maybe Apple should be providing them free to iPhone 3G owners whose phones will be basically obsolete as soon as iOS5 is deployed.
