LG Revolution Arrives May 26th For $249.99, Third LTE Phone For Verizon Wireless

Turns out Verizon wasn’t kidding when they said the LG Revolution was “coming soon” as Verizon Wireless just announced a May 26th street date for the LG Revolution. The arrival date of the Revolution doesn’t come as a huge surprise as the May 26th date has been rumored for some time. The Revolution will be Verizon Wireless’ third LTE phone and will be the first Android smartphone preloaded with Netflix. The Revolution arrives with Android 2.2, Bing search and maps, 5 megapixel camera on the rear, 1.3 megapixel camera for front facing video chat and records 720p HD video. The Revolution will take advantage of Verizon’s high speed LTE network by allowing up to 8 devices to connect and establish a WiFi connection on the LTE network and 5 devices on the 3G network.

The LG Revolution will be available online and in stores tomorrow May 26th for $249.99 with a new two-year customer agreement.

  • Revolution customers will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan and a data package.  Nationwide Talk plans begin at $39.99 for monthly access.  An unlimited data package is available for $29.99 for monthly access.  The Mobile Hotspot feature will be included for a limited time at no additional charge.
